Bar Joke of the Day
Family
Bar Joke: A guy walks into a bar and asks for three beers. The bartender puts them up and then watches the guy go through a peculiar ritual. "Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday, happy birthday" Each time he says the word he drinks the beer. Then he pays and walks out. One year later he enters the bar again and orders the same thing. The bartender watches him go through the same ritual. Curious, he asks the bloke why. "Well" the guy says, "I have a friend in Ireland and a friend in Australia. We have our birthdays on the same day. We can't be together so we have agreed that on this day we will each go into our local pub and have a round of drinks for each other. We have been doing this for 55 years since we were 18" The next year the man comes in and asks the bartender for two beers. The bartender, a bit taken aback, places two beers in front of the guy and watches him say "happy birthday, happy birthday!" The bartender asks "So which one died?" "No one." "But you only ordered two drinks!" "Yeah, well, I've given up drinking."

Bar Bet of the Day
Bet Category: Psychic Mathematician
Bet Supplies Needed Psychic Powers Bet
The Bet: *A willing participant you want to impress or win something from them. * A pen and a piece of paper for them to write on and add up numbers.
To demonstrate your connection you experience with some people. You ask them to shield their paper completely from you. You ask them to write down the following: The year they were born, under that number… The year something really important happened in their lives, under that have them write… The number of years that have passed since that major event in their life happened, then below that… How old they will be this year. Have the person add up these numbers and don’t show you. Tell the person to think of the number and you will receive the number telepathically.

The Catch: The answer is equal to 2 times the year this is now. For instance, if its 2010 then the answer is 4020. How will you know that? Because you asked the person (Question 1) the year they were born and (Question 4) how old they are which equals this year. You also asked (Question 2) they year of a major event in their lives and (Question 3) how long ago it happened which equals this year also. The sum of those for numbers equals 2 times the year every time.

Instructions:
1. Speak of clairvoyance, your connection with them, your psychic abilities that come and go etc.
2. Ask them to write down the answers to the following questions and add the answers up.
The year they were born, under that…
The year something really important happened in their lives, under that have them write…
The number of years that have passed since that major event in their life happened, then below that…
How old they will be this year.
3. Tell them the answer ---- which is equal to 2 times this year and watch them become amazed by you.

Drinking Game of the Day
Ring of Fire
Type of Drinking Game: Card Game
Supplies Needed: Deck of Cards
# Players: 4+
Buzz Factor: Drunk

Instructions:
The game begins with a deck of cards face down in a circle formation basically layed out in a ring(flared in a circle). Clockwise around the ring one player at a time takes their turn flipping a card face up and places in the middle of the ring. All cards 2 - Ace represent a different game so it's kind of like 13 games in 1.

When a player turns a.....
2- MAKE A RULE (this rule is carried out until the end of the
game)

3- PROPOSE A TOAST (the card turner proposes a toast to whatever he/she wants. All players must consume some drink after the toast as a sign of respect)

4- 4 FINGERS (whoever turns this card has the power to delegate up to 4 fingers of drink to ANY player. They may give them all to one player or divide them up to a maximum of 4 players. 4 fingers is the amount of drink if you hold 4 fingers from the pinky to the pointer finger next to a drink.)

5- KING OF THE RING (The king of the ring has the power to make anyone drink whatever he/she likes whenever he/she wants until a new king is elected)

6- LADIES DRINK (all female players consume 2 fingers of drink)

7- CATEGORIES (the card turner selects a category e.g brands of clothing, golfers names, football teams, planets etc and one at a time players give an answer until either someone can't think of one or their answer isn't correct. They then drink a minimum fine of 2 fingers. 2 fingers is amount of drink as high as 2 fingers.)

8- GENTS DRINK (all male players consume 2 fingers of drink. 2 fingers is amount of drink as high as 2 fingers.)

9- BUSTA RHYME (the card turner says a word and players must give a word that rhymes with the original e.g lick, sick, prick, kick etc until either someone can't think of one or their answer isn't correct. They then consume minimum fine of 2 fingers. 2 fingers is amount of drink as high as 2 fingers.)

10- SNAP (the last person to put their hand on top of the upturned 10 card must drink the minimum fine of 2 fingers)

Jack- THUMBMASTER (thumbmaster can place his thumb on the edge of the table whenever they like and the last person to do so consumes minimum fine of 2 fingers)

Queen- QUESTION MASTER (Question Master can ask people questions whenever they like and if any other player answers a question they must consume minimum fine of 2 fingers)

King- EYE MASTER (the Eye Master tries to catch the eye of any other player. A player caught looking directly into the eye of the eye master must consume a minimum fine of 2 fingers)

Ace- 21s (a game of 21s proceeds starting with the card turner)
After a player turns a card, the next person in the ring turns their card and on and on.
Each person takes turn taking a card until someone makes a stack that equals 21.
If you bust(go above 21) you drink.
If someone gets 21, everyone else drinks.
21's Number Values---
2 to 10 = the # 2 up to 10
J,Q,K = 10
A = 1 or 11 your choice
Joker is wild card
The 'power cards' are 5, Jack, Queen, King.
They remain with the player who turned them until the next time the card is turned. So a player who turns a Queen will be Question Master until the next time a Queen is turned.

Rule Challenges: If at any point during the game a disagreement occurs between players (e.g A word kind of rhymes in BUSTA RHYME or who was the last person to put their thumb down during THUMBMASTER) a 'Council' will decide the outcome. Anyone can call Council at any time and a majority vote (shown by placing a clenched fist in the middle of the table) is final. All players at the table are involved in the council.

The standard minimum drinking fine is 2 fingers but can be adapted to the drink involved e.g. a fine of 4 fingers for lager may be adapted to only 2 fingers for wine or 1 finger for straight liquor.

Supplies Needed: A dish Thick piece of Cardboard Glue Scissors

Summary: You will have a spectator count coins in a dish carefully. Pour the coins into the spectators hand. When the spectator counts the coins in their hand later, the spectator will find more coins in their hand than they originally counted.

Secret: There is a secret compartment you created with the coins in it below the dish. When you pour the coins into the spectators hand, the coins in the secret compartment will be added to the counted coins in the top.

Set up: Cut 2 pieces of the thick cardboard Cardboard 1: Cut a Rectangular Piece about 3" x 4". Just make sure its not bigger that the plate. Cardboard 2: Cut a similar sized piece on the shorter 3" side. Cut a rectangular piece out that will allow you to fit the coins in. Glue the cardboard grooved piece to the bottom of the plate. Make sure the end with the groove is close to the side or a an inch or so away from the edge of the plate. Glue the other piece of cardboard over the cardboard with the groove. You have created a secret chamber for the extra coins.

Instructions:
Step1: Grab your scissors, glue, and cardboard and create the arts and crafts contraption in the Setup above.
Step2: Out of the spectators view before the trick is performed, slide the coins into the secret groove.
Step3: Now, place some coins on top of the dish and have the spectator count them.
Step4: If they ask about the dish, tell them you brought it out because you don't want to touch the coins.
Step5: Start pouring the coins out of the end the dish that the groove is angled towards.
Step6: The coins from the secret groove chamber and the top of the dish will fall into the spectators hand together.
Step7: After you pour them into the spectators hand move the dish away. Get the dish completely out of the spectators sight.
Step8: Now, when the spectator counts the coins they will be completely suprised to find the additional coins.
